The Studio

Small, deliberate, unhurried

The studio sits above Professional Hair Care Products on Seymour Street — a short walk from Ringwood Square, with parking at Bunnings or the Shopping Centre across the road. It is a purpose-built suite, not a chair in a larger salon. The fit-out reads as a single decision: blush wainscot panelling against warm white, brass appearing only as hardware and light, pale oak underfoot, sheer curtains on every window.

The reception is a fluted curved desk lit from beneath, with the studio's raised tone-on-tone wordmark on the blush wall above it. Behind a short corridor: two beige treatment beds under arched LUVO task lamps, a marble-topped station with caronlab equipment, and the daylight that floods in through floor-length sheers. The waiting nook holds a curved bouclé sofa, twin brass globe pendants, and retail shelving. Nothing in the room is loud.

It is the kind of room you build when the work is close-range and the client is sitting still for it. Every surface is the brief.
